Overview

embecta offers a comprehensive range of syringes designed to help you deliver your insulin when using a vial and a syringe.

Features and Benefits

6mm - Shortest syringe needle from embecta

The BD Ultra-Fine™ 6mm insulin syringe is the shortest needle length available from embecta. Short needles may lower the risk of accidentally injecting into your muscle, when compared to longer needles. Injecting into the muscle can be more painful and may affect how your insulin is absorbed.1

Full range of needle lengths and barrel capacities

Across the diverse range of needs and preferences of those living with diabetes, our range of BD Ultra-Fine™ Syringes offer you choice and flexibility with availability in 1mL, 0.5mL and 0.3mL capacities, with 6mm, 8mm and 12.7mm needle lengths.

Single Use

Use a new syringe every time you inject. Syringe needles are intended to be single-use and should only be used once to ensure sterility. Re-using needles may cause pain, bleeding and/or other complications.1
