We’re a new company with a long legacy of helping people live a life unlimited by diabetes. Insulin was first used to treat diabetes in humans in 1922, and just two years later — in 1924 — the company that is now known as embecta developed the world’s first dedicated insulin syringe.1
For 100 years, we have stood alongside people with diabetes, their caregivers and their community, developing and providing solutions that make lives better.
