Features and Benefits

6mm - Shortest syringe needle from embecta

The Ultra-Fine™ 6mm x 31G needle is the shortest insulin syringe needle length offered by embecta. Shorter needles are effective, well tolerated, less painful and may lower the risk of an accidental intramuscular injection, when compared to longer needles. Intramuscular injections can lead to unexplained hypoglycemia and greater injection pain.1

Full range of needle lengths and barrel capacities

Across the diverse range of patient needs and preferences, our portfolio of Ultra-FineTM insulin syringes offer you choice and flexibility with availability in 1 mL, 0.5 mL, and 0.3 mL capacities, with 6 mm, 8 mm and 12.7 mm needles.

Available in U-500

The U-500 Insulin Syringe is intended for the subcutaneous injection of U-500 insulin. The U-500 Insulin syringe has a green U-500 symbol and a green needle shield on the syringe.  Always use a U-500 Insulin Syringe to inject U-500 insulin. The pharmacy may need to pre-order U-500 Insulin Syringes.

Easy to read
